Gyuto made in anchor chain wrought iron and 1084 high carbon steel. The highly polished blade is etched to highlight the high carbon edge as black. This patina can be scratched and thus removed so be careful using abrasive scrubs/sponges . Will be more dramatic as the knife patinas. Fairly light knife with recycled Rosewood handle and vintage micarta bolster. Thin, light but balanced knife.
